Symptoms of trigger finger are stiffness and the finger can’t be straightened.

Trigger finger is caused by thickened tendon and as a result, muscle stucked in the tunnel.
Trigger finger is commonly happened on women, especially women who have a lot of activities that use hand fingers, like grasping and gripping, and also who lack of high calcium supplement for bones and joint like hilo milk.

2. Relaxation / stretching
3. Compress with warm water for 20 minutes

Salah satu jenis penyakit rematik yang menyerang pada bagian jari-jemari tangan adalah Trigger Finger.

Gejala penyakit rematik trigger finger ini adalah kaku pada jari-jemari tangan, dan jari tangan yang ditekuk sulit diluruskan kembali.

Trigger Finger ini disebabkan oleh pengapuran pada tendon otot jari tangan, dan mengakibatkan urat di dalamnya terjepit.

  • Watch your weight. Keep it ideal
  • Watch your diets (consume healthy foods and low fat, also rich nutrition like hilo milk)
  • Do exercises (sports) regularly (but do not push your self to do repeated movement without break)
  • Let’s protect ourself from rheumatic with healthy life.

    Based on my recent post about obesity and osteoarthritis risks, now i want to discuss about which level are you could be counted overweight?
    To declare that you are overweight or not, you can calculate with Body Mass Index (BMI) formula :

    Weight (in kg)

    (Height (in meter))2

    If the result has reached 23, be careful, because you have been classified as overweight and had a higher risk of osteoarthritis.

    Rheumatic Osteoarthritis Symptoms

    Here are rheumatic osteoarthritis‘s symptoms (caused by abnormal wearing of the cartilage and decrease of synovial fluid)

  • pain in your joint after long activity. However, the pain will decrease after you take a break
  • stiff in joint (especially in the morning)
  • swelling in joint
  • imp/ lame / crippled
  • Do you feel one of them ?
